President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev plans to make an official visit to Belarus in the first half of this year.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Azerbaijan Gennady Akhramovich told reporters.
"This year marks the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus. In connection with this, President Ilham Aliyev is expected to visit Belarus", the Ambassador said noting that the visit is scheduled for May-June.
According to him, about 7-10 bilateral documents are expected to be signed during the visit, in such areas as industry, agriculture, high technologies and cooperation between stock exchanges.
