Volume of retail trade turnover in Azerbaijan in 2017 amounted to 35 268.1 mln. AZN.
According to the State Statistical Committee (SSC), this is 2.5% more than in 2016.
16 197.7 mln. AZN or 45.9% of this amount spent on food products, 1,385.7 mln. AZN (4.8%) on drinks and tobacco products, 6,272.5 mln. AZN (17.8%) on textile products, clothing and equipment, 2 118.1 mln. AZN (6%) on electricity equipment and furniture, 255.5 mln. AZN (0.7%) on computers, communication equipment and printing products, 461.7 mln. AZN (1.3%) on pharmaceuticals and medical products, 1,938.1 mln. AZN (5.5%) on car fuel, 6 338.8 mln. AZN (18%) on other non-food products.
