International conference “2017- Islamic Solidarity Year: Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue” has today started at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku.

The conference launched regarding completion of "Islamic Solidarity Year" announced under Order of President Ilham Aliyev was jointly organized by the Caucasian Muslims Office and the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations (SCWRO).
The international conference is attended by well-known state, religion and science figures from about 40 countries, heads and representatives of 8 international organizations, special representatives of heads of states of various states, religious confessional leaders, government, public and parliamentary members, representatives of diplomatic corps.
The conference began with reading verses from Holy Quran.
