Baku hosts the Annual Accountants Forum dedicated to the topic of "IFRS 9 - Implementation and Challenges" today, organized by the Azerbaijan Accountants and Risk Professionals Association (ARPA).
The forum is attended by the representatives of the government agencies, international financial institutions, regional professional accounting organizations, local and international audit and consulting companies, local and international private companies and universities.
Rufat Mahmud, Chairman of ARPA Supervisory Board, said that the forum will play an important role in informing about IFRS 9 standard. Participants will have the opportunity to get detailed information about IFRS 9 and its practical application within the company.
The forum will also discuss ways to increase transparency and self-governance in the profession of accountants working in various sectors.
