President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on August 24 on Qarabag’s qualifying to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
The order reads that Qarabag’s qualifying to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League for the first time is the historical victory of the Azerbaijani football.
Taking into consideration the fact that the club has represented Azerbaijan at a high level and played a significant role in the development of football in the country, 2 mln. AZN have been allocated to Qarabag F.C. from the reserve fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the 2017 state budget.
