In accordance with the Order of President Ilham Aliyev "on reduction of business activities requiring special permission (license), simplification of the procedures for issuing a special permit (license) and ensuring their transparency on October 19, 2015", the Economy Ministry began to present licenses since November 2, 2015, via ASAN Service centers.
According to the statement, since the mentioned date, more than 4, 300 licenses have been given to entrepreneurs. Some 2, 450 of them are new and 1, 871 of them are indefinite licenses.
Since the start of 2017, 966 licenses have been granted to entrepreneurs. Some 683 of them are new and 283 of them are indefinite licenses. Licenses have been given mainly to pharmaceuticals, private medical, construction, sale of veterinary medications, fire security, metallurgy equipment, education and many other fields.
