Ambassador: About 25 Azerbaijani students currently study in Romania

The first Azerbaijani-Romanian educational forum will take place at a historic moment, when we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Romanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dan Iancu said at a briefing on the occasion of the forum scheduled for May 24.
According to him, the event will be attended by 10 leading universities in Romania, which will present their educational programs: "Education is an investment in the development of the future relations between Azerbaijan and Romania. We will continue to develop our relationship."
Speaking about the advantages of studying in Romania, D. Iancu said that Romania is the most attractive country for foreign students: "There are fewer cultural barriers for Azerbaijani students. We have a similar culture, traditions, music and this is important for a person who travels abroad for studying."
Ambassador also spoke about scholarships offered by Romania for foreign students. He added, at present about 25 Azerbaijanis are studying in Romania.
