Nizami Cinema hosted a Turkish poetry evening entitled "The Sound of Love in the Caspian".
Co-organized by Baku Yunus Emre Institute and Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the project aimed at raising awareness of national culture and revealing new talents.
Famous Turkish and Azerbaijani artists and poets took part in the event organized as part of the literature project "Word".
Many public figures, including People's Artists of Azerbaijan, actors Amaliya Panakhova,Shamil Suleymanli, director Ramiz Gazanoglu, composer Govhar Hasanzade, head of Azerbaijan National Cuisine Center Tahir Amiraslanov, head of the Center of National Costumes Gulnara Khalilova and others were the guests of the event.
Addressing the event, Head of Baku Yunus Emre Institute Ibrahim Yildirim and Director of the literary project "Word" Nigar Hasanzade, welcomed the guests and spoke about the event program.
Then, actors Gulzar Gurbanova, Husneya Murvatova, Parviz Mamedrzaev, Tural Ahmed, Hikmet Ragimov and Ali Ihsan Chevik presented the greatest examples of Azerbaijani and Turkish poetry.
The event followed by the performance of "Savalan" band and the Honored Artist Lala Mammadova.
