Representatives of Gem&Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) in India have met with Indian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Shri Sanjay Rana.
According to Indian media, trade relations between India and Azerbaijan and reduction in import duty of gems and jewellery products to Azerbaijan were some of the key topics in the meeting.
The meeting expressed a proposal to invite jewelers from Azerbaijan to the exhibition IIJS Signature 2017 in India, February 2017.
The ambassador noted that he would hold talks with jewelers of Azerbaijan and discuss development of trade relations.
S. Rana also offered to hold an exhibition of Indian goods in Azerbaijan.
