President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva have today attended a ground breaking ceremony of the first nine-storey building and school in Yasamal residential complex, the first project of the State Housing Construction Agency (MIDA) under the President of Azerbaijan.
Head of the State Housing Construction Agency Samir Nuriyev informed President Ilham Aliyev about the project.
The complex occupies a total area of 11.6 hectares.
President Ilham Aliyev laid a foundation stone for the nine-storey building to be built in Yasamal residential complex.
The complex will consist of 29 multi-apartment buildings.
The head of state then laid a foundation stone for the school to be constructed here.
A number of social facilities will be built in the complex, including a 240-seat kindergarten and a 960-seat secondary school.
President Ilham Aliyev made a speech at the event.
