October 5 is the World Teachers’ Day.
Today, October 5, is annually celebrated as the World Teachers’ Day. UNESCO proclaimed October 5 to be World Teachers' Day in 1994.
The Day is aimed at celebrating the role teachers play in providing quality education at all levels.
Azerbaijan has been celebrating Teachers’ Day since 1993.
