A ceremonial guard of honor was lined up for the Ukrainian leader at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
Petro Poroshenko was welcomed by Azerbaijani first deputy prime minister Yagub Eyyubov and other officials.
