Ukrainian President Petr Poroshenko has left for Azerbaijan.
According to Ukrainian media, the Ukrainian leader will arrive in the Azerbaijani capital this afternoon for a two-day official visit.
During the visit Poroshenko and his Azerbaijani counterpart will hold the fifth session of the council of the presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
The sides are planning to sign a number of bilateral agreement aimed at strengthening of cooperation between the countries in various spheres.
The program of the visit includes Poroshenko's separate meetings with the Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, country's Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, as well as Milli Majlis speaker Oqtay Asadov.
