The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers adopted a decree “On the issues of preparation of children for school”.
The decision provides for the opening preparatory groups in public at the expense of the state budget of the Azerbaijan Republic.
The Ministry of Education was instructed along with pre-school educational institutions, providing training in the use of 5-year-olds for school infrastructure available educational and other social and cultural facilities, as well as pedagogical personnel potential of public schools.
The Ministry of Education in cooperation with the authorized bodies of executive power also was entrusted with the necessary organizational and educational measures to ensure the gradual bringing level up to 90 per cent coverage of children preparing to school within the allocated budget until 2020 (since 2016-2017-school year).
Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education instructed to solve the problems of logistics in connection with the organization of the preparatory groups in public schools.
