Under the order of Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev, Azerpasha Nemat has been appointed as the art director and director of the Azerbaijan Academic National Drama Theatre.
Prior to the appointment, Azerpasha Nemet had served as art director and chief film director of the theatre.
The theatre’s deputy director Natiq Gulahmadov has been appointed as the executive director.
Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Adalat Valiyev today introduced the newly appointed persons to the theatre staff.
The contract of Israfil Israfilov, the former director of the theatre, expired on January 5. The term of his contract was not extended.
