In July 2019, 1,099,474 foreigners travelled to Georgia, up 5.8% from a year earlier, Report’s Georgian bureau informs citing the Georgian National Tourism Administration.
In the reporting period, 570,482 tourists visited Georgia, up 1% or 5,505 people from a year ago. Most of visitors came from Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey and Armenia.
Number of travelers from Azerbaijan, Turkey and Armenia respectively increased by 13.1%, 9.6% and 3.2%, from Russia – decreased by 6.4%.
