The head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, plans a working trip to Azerbaijan in October to discuss the expansion of economic cooperation. It is informed citing the Interfax, this was stated Minnikhanov's spokeswoman Lilia Galimova.
"Today, the foreign trade turnover of Tatarstan with Azerbaijan is $ 58 million. This is very little - in the best of times of our relations, the figure reached $ 200 million. We agreed that the development of cooperation will be discussed during the visit of President Minnikhanov to Baku which is scheduled for the second half of October”, - Galimova said.
