The sanctuary in Pirabulgasym – Pirabulgasym village of Ismailly region is in 16 km to the east from the regional center, in 3 km to the south from highway Ismailly-Basgal. The village population mainly is engaged in animal breeding. The village has very ancient history. It is also proved by the octagonal structure (sanctuary) named ovliya (holy site) and constructed in village in high-quality architectural style. It possesses several wonderful properties. The first – to see, with what a big skill this building has been constructed, it is necessary to approach to it closely. The second – in spite of the fact that from three parts of a sanctuary the earth is slipped, it is still stands firmly on its place. The third – there is a well in the sanctuary whose top part at first equaled to 10 cm, and has been expanded later, and which depth is unknown to anybody. The fourth – according to legends, the floor of the sanctuary constructed in a XVII century has been paved by smooth rectangular stones, and not to fail in a well, having slipped on these stones, was a miracle. The fifth – the floor consists of two layers. Between them there is a mysterious substance in the form of a fine dust (named tutya (zinc)), similar to the earth which pilgrims take away with themselves. The sixth – in a sanctuary there is a tomb accurately made of stones with inscriptions on it and a breadboard model of the sanctuary. The seventh – the reasons, on which this structure has been erected, are still unknown. All data on the sanctuary are based only on legends. This miraculous sanctuary is called as Abilgasym, and the village has received the name from it. This holy site has helped many people. It helped the majority of pilgrims coming here and cured people of illnesses. The sanctuary is constructed in so interesting, attractive and impressive style that causes belief in pilgrims. With this belief people find the decision to all sorrows. Convex hexagonal dome has been constructed by master Hajibaba in 1655-1656.
